END TIME: Part 7 - Oil for the Seven Lamps
The word “apocalypsis” is the Greek name of the book of Revelation, from which we get our word apocalypse. Because the word is associated with the prophecies about the end of our age, many assume the word means “doom” or “destruction.”
But it does not. The word literally means “revelation” — a spiritual process where the Spirit opens our mind by dreams, direct contact, by meditation, visions, by whatever the Spirit finds best, to help us understand things we otherwise might not grasp. John the Apostle wrote:
The anointing, which you have received from Him, stays in you. And you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as the same anointing does teach you concerning all, and is true, and is not falsehood, and even as it has taught you, you stay in Him. And now, little children, stay in Him, so that when He appears, we might have boldness and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
From I John 2
This Bible study series contains some very strong words for a special group of people symbolized by the Seven Lamps belonging to the one lampstand. Some translators of the Book of Revelation used “lampstand” or “candlestick” instead of “lamp” when translating this passage.
But a lamp in Greek is a vessel into which oil is poured, and it has a wick that brings the oil to the spout to burn and give light. It is not a candlestick, nor is the lamp the lampstand on which the lamps are placed.
Although some made a career of studying the Greek New Testament, it does have weaknesses, which most often show up in the translations. The use of the word candlestick or lampstand instead of lamp is one case. Greek is not a theological language, it is philosophical and forms a context for Western thought.
But these two chapters of Revelation can only be understood within the context of the Scriptures and Hebraic thought. Here is what I mean: The Law and the Prophets tell about the gold lampstand with its seven gold lamps:
And you shall make a lampstand of clean gold — the lampstand is made of beaten work. Its base and its shaft, its cups, its ornamental knobs and blossoms are from it, and six branches shall come out of its sides: three branches out of one side and three branches of the lampstand out of the other side.
And you shall make seven lamps for it, and they shall mount its lamps [put them on the lampstand] so that they give light in front of it. And its snuffers and their trays are of clean gold. A talent of pure or clean gold [about 75 pounds!] is to be used for the lampstand and all these accessories [lamps, snuffers, and trays]. From Exodus 25
As noted, the lamps are not candles. Instead they are oil lamps. Hence, “mount its lamps so that they give light in front” means all the “spouts” must be turned to the front. The confusion comes from a tradition of using candles in place of the oil lamps, and this loses the message of the symbolism. Candlesticks , as we know them, are not in keeping with the instructions of the Torah.
The symbol of the lampstand with its oil lamps holds throughout Scripture, including the two chapters of Revelation. Furthermore, the lampstand by itself does not give off the light. Instead, it supports the oil lamps so that the light can be seen coming out from them!
The prophets also saw visions of the lampstand and its seven lamps:
These appear in this vision and message to Zechariah, one of the post-exilic prophets:
And he said to me, “What do you see?
So I said, “I have looked, and see: a lampstand all of gold with a bowl on top of it, and on the lampstand seven lamps with seven spouts to the seven lamps. And two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at the left. … What are these,my master?”
“Do you not know what these are? This is the word of Eyahuwah to Zerubbabel [offspring or seed that came out of Babylon], ‘ Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ said Eyahuwah of Armies.’ … These are the seven eyes of Eyahuwah, which diligently search throughout all the earth.”
I said to him, “What are these two olive trees, one at the right of the lampstand and the other at the left? … What are these two olive branches which empty golden oil from themselves by means of the two gold pipes?”
And he said, “These are the two sons of oil, who [were appointed to] stand by the lord of the earth.” From Zechariah 4
The lamps are fed from a bowl into which olive oil flows through pipes from the two olive trees (as seen in this vision) on the right and left. Then pipes come from the bowl to feed each lamp.
The vision is highly symbolic. The lampstand and lamps are the same as those to be placed in the Tabernacle. This is an honored spiritual position shared by all the lamps together. Their light was to shine during the night and their wicks were trimmed and oil refreshed each morning. From the two olive trees comes the oil.
John’s vision in the Book of Revelation :
And I turned to see the voice which spoke with me. And having turned I saw seven golden oil lamps, and in the midst of the seven oil lamps One like the Son of Man, dressed in a robe down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band. And his head and hair were white as white wool, as snow, and His eyes as a flame of fire, and His feet like burnished brass, as if refined in a furnace, and His voice as the sound of many waters.
And in his right hand He held seven stars, and out of His mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and His face was as the sun shining in its strength.
And when I saw, Him I fell at His feet as dead, and He placed His right hand on me, saying, “Do not be afraid, I am the First and the Last, and The Living One [the meaning of Eyahuwah]. And I became dead, and see, I am living for ever and ever, [I exist], amen [this is the Truth]. And I possess the keys of the grave and of death. Write therefore, what you have seen, both what is now and what shall take place after these.
The secret of the seven stars, which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden oil lamps: The seven stars are messengers of the assemblies [lit. called-out people], and the seven oil lamps, which you saw, are seven assemblies [literally, seven groups of people gathered together by special invitation to be separated for a specific purpose, seven ek-klesia].”
“ek” means “out of, away from, separated,” and “klesia” comes from “kaleo” and means to “call, invite, or summon.” The authority of the speaker dictates the meaning, whether call, invite, or summon. It can also mean “to name.” To translate this with the Catholic word, “church” is a lie and loathsome to the truth of Scripture.
These are the people who have received a call or invitation from Eyahuwah and Elah to open up their ears to hear what the Spirit is trying to tell them. These people know that they received this call and in their attempts to respond, they were drawn into the influence of different religions, which kept them drunk, asleep, blind, poor, oppressed, deceived, naked, bound, and even spiritually dead!
The objective of each Lamp was to burn brightly so that they the world could see! These are “the light of the world.” These must not be hidden “under a basket.” These must shine from the hill tops so that others could see the good works and give esteem to their Father in heaven.
But as noted in the prior posts in this Bible study series, many of these lamps have gone dim and some dark. John saw the lamps, but not the oil from the olive trees.
You are the light of the world. It is impossible for a city to be hidden on a mountain. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it shines to all those in the house. Let your light so shine before men, so that they see your good works and praise your Father who is in the heavens.
Do not think that I came to destroy the Torah [Law] of the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to complete. For truly, I say to you, till the heavens and the earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah till all be done. Whoever, then, breaks one of the least of these commands, and teaches men so, shall be called the least in the domain of the heavens. But whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the domain of the heavens.
For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees [including Paul, the Pharisee], you shall by no means enter into the domain of the heavens.[ Kingdom of Elahim.]
Lamps drastically in need of Oil!
The prior posts in this series show that the seven lamps received doctrine, rituals, and practices from different religions, and those things oppressed them and kept them from understanding and truth. What the different religions offer offer is not fuel. It is polluted water and unclean bread that makes those symbolized by the lamps, weak and sick. Where oil is needed, they are given stupefying wine or unclean water. Where food is needed, they are given dung to eat.
We live during a time when the population of the earth is the largest it has been. Perhaps, even larger than the population before “the first end” (a phrase given by Enoch in reference to the great flood). Today, the current population of the earth may even be greater than the number of people who died since the flood in Noah’s time. So the message to the seven oil lamps is more appropriate for our day than for any other time.
The seventh age of Enoch’s vision, in which we now live, was and is the time of the great apostasy. And the great apostasy produced the three great religions of the world, and many offshoots, sects, and cults, which will all come to an end before the next age begins, the age of righteousness (right-doing).
Looking again at the vision given to Zechariah we find more symbols that must be understood now, at this time near the end of the seventh age:
Who is Yehoshua of Zechariah 3?
A clue: he is not Jesus.
And he showed me Yehoshua the high priest standing before the messenger of Eyahuwah [He who Exists; "The Living One" (Revelation)], and Satan standing on his right hand to be an adversary to him.
And The Living One said to Satan, “The Living One rebukes you Satan! The Living One who has chosen Jerusalem rebukes you! Is not this man a burning stick plucked from the fire?“
And Yehoshua was dressed in filthy garments, and was standing before the messenger. And He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying, “Remove the filthy garments from him.” And to him he said, “See, I have removed your guilt from you, and shall put costly robes on you.”
And I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” Then they put a clean turban on his head, and they put garments on him. And the messenger stood by.
And the messenger of The Living One witnessed to Yehoshua saying,
“Thus says The Living One of armies, ‘ If you walk in My ways, and if you guard My duty [works], then you shall also rule My house, and also guard My courts. And I shall give you access among those standing here. Now listen, Yehoshua the high priest and your companions who sit before you, for they are men of symbol. For look, I am bringing forth my My Servant — the Branch. See the stone I have put before Yehoshua: on one stone are seven eyes. See I am engraving its inscription,’ declares The Living One of Armies, ‘ And I shall remove the guilt of the land in one day. In that day,’ declares The Living One of Armies, ‘ you shall invite one another, under the vine and under the fig tree.’ “
Yehoshua was saved out of the fire, cleaned up, and made to stand, with Satan standing at his right hand. But he is not alone.
Who is Zerubbabel?
The name means “a seed from Babylon.” This was one who was born in Babylon, but is no longer under Babylon’s control. In our day this would refer to someone who was born into the context of one of the religions (the Babylon of Revelation), but was and is not influenced by Babylon, and is now “a seed or offspring out of Babylon.”
Zerubbabel is written about in the prophecies of Zechariah. These are end time prophecies that parallel many of the prophecies in the Book of Revelation, including the seven lamps prophecies of chapters 2 and 3 of Revelation. Zechariah was given visions and prophecies about the events and details that will happen before the earth is restored and before the resurrection. Zechariah saw the four horsemen, and the surveyor’s line stretched out to measure the “house,” the seven golden lamps, the two olive trees, and other images also seen in John’s visions. Zerubbabel was a “king” figure in the eyes of the people. It was he who would rebuild the “house.” Now picking up again from Zechariah 4:
And two olive trees are by it, one at the right of the bowl and the other at the left. … What are these,my master?” And the messenger who was speaking to me answered and said to me,
“Do you not know what these are? This is the word of Eyahuwah to Zerubbabel [offspring or seed that came out of Babylon], ‘ Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ said The Living One of Armies. ‘ Who are you, great mountain [the world], before Zerubbabel? {Only] A plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of “Favor, favor to it!’
And the word of The Living One came to me saying,”
“The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this House, and his hands shall complete it. And you shall know that The Living One of Armies has sent me to you. For who has despised the day of small beginnings? They shall rejoice when the see the plumb-line in the hand of Zerubbabel.
“These [the seven lamps] are the seven eyes of Eyahuwah, which diligently search throughout all the earth.”
I said to him, “What are these two olive trees, one at the right of the lampstand and the other at the left? … What are these two olive branches which empty golden oil from themselves by means of the two gold pipes?”
And he said, “These are the two sons of oil, who stand by the lord [lit: ruler] of the earth.”
We see two men in this vision: Yehoshua the high “priest” and Zerubbabel the “king.” All of this is in the vision given to Zechariah. And it is about the end time, which is the end of the seventh age of Enoch’s vision. Zerubbabel was protected from Babylon, whereas Yehoshua wore filthy rags (spiritual garments) and was “unclean.” Zerubbabel was kept from the deceit and corruption of Babylon. Yehoshua was spiritually filthy because of it, but he will be cleansed from it and given new clothing to wear. These two seen in this vision are symbols of the two “sons of oil” who will be given authority in the end-time to stand before the lord [lit: ruler] of the earth, Satan, and witness against him and the world that follows his ways.
And I shall give to my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy one thousand two hundred and sixty days [Enoch's calendar], clad in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and two lamps that stand before the lord of the earth. From Revelation 11
From the Bible we learn that Satan is called the lord or ruler of this world. His time of influence and control of the “great mountain,” called the world, will come to an end. These two will witness against his power and withstand him face to face and demonstrate great power and authority over all the world and nothing or no one can stop them from doing anything and everything they desire to do to powerfully flatten and render powerless any and all nations and powers.
And the devil [Satan], taking him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the nations of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I shall give You, and their esteem, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. If, then, You worship before me, all shall be Yours.” And Eyahushuah [The Living One who saves us] answering him said, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it has been written, ‘ Worship Eyahuwah [The Living One] your Elahim, and Him only shall you serve.’ ” Luke 4:5-8
Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the ruler of this world be cast out. John 12:31
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the ruler of this world comes, and has nothing in me. John 14:30
But I say the truth to you. It is better for you that I go away. For if I do not go away, the Helper shall not come to you at all, but if I go away, I shall send the Helper to you. And having come, he shall prove the world wrong concerning sin, concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment — concerning sin because they do not believe Me, concerning righteousness because I go to the Father and you see me no more, and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged. John 16:11
At the same time these two will also pour their oil into the seven lamps who will bring light to the world. This will happen during the last years of this age, and is about to happen within the very near future. They will prophesy for 1,260 days or three and one-half years according to Enoch’s revealed calendar. When they have finished, then power will be given to the ruler of the world to kill these two. Their bodies will lie in the streets of Jerusalem for three and one-half days and then they will be raised from the dead and ascend to the heavens. This will be a sign to the righteous and chosen that after three and one-half years the great resurrection will come, and they must be patient for that time.
When this happens the prince of this world will be angry with great fury and will wage war against the righteous “Lamps” and against the elect or chosen offspring of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This war will continue for three and one-half years and come to its appointed end at the return of Eyahuwah The Living One, at the beginning of the eighth age — the age of right-ruling.
The sons of righteousness shall shine to all the ends of the world, continuing to shine forth until the end of the appointed seasons of darkness.
Dead Sea Scrolls
Gather oil now while it is available. Trim your lamps and light them before the time of darkness comes upon the world. The seven lamps are the armies of Sons of Light and Righteousness who are beginning to shine forth to all the ends of the world. They will come out of the spiritual darkness of the religions of Babylon, and continue to shine forth until the seasons of darkness come to their appointed end. Then the world will be filled with light, and darkness will end. The new age of righteousness will dawn upon the world.
However, until that happens here is the cry you will hear!
“Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.” From Revelation 18
“Escape, you who dwell with the daughter of Babel.” Zechariah 2:2

I have been reading your blog a bit today and I am curious. Who exactly do you think Jesus Christ was in relationship to God? Do you believe he was a Prophet or was he God’s Son?
In several blogs you write that you do not believe in the great religions of this world, including Judaism and Christianity. Is this just a matter of principal because men have taken hold of religions and perverted them?
I am just a bit confused because many of the prophetic things you write about are things that as a Christian, I also believe.
Lastly, I would like to know what you mean by our souls not being eternal, or immortal. You write about there being resurrection for the chosen/elect. Do you think this is literally limited to decendents of Abraham, etc…, or is this something for all genunine God adoring people of all races, colors, creeds?
The question is not, “Who do I think Jesus was or is?” Instead it is this: “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” Do they say he is a prophet, or a great teacher? Some even say He is the “Jesus Christ” of the Christian religion. What does it matter what the people opine? Truth is not determined by poll taking!
The real question is more personal: “Who do you say the Son of Man is?” The answer does not come from people or from a religion, it comes by revelation from the Father in the heavens.
Revelation from the Spirit of Elah is the key. Repeating only what others say and buying in to their beliefs offers little assurance. Jesus’s true and Hebrew name says who He is. It is transliterated as Eyahushuah and it means : “He who exists [YHWH] is our deliverer.” He is the One who existed as recorded in the Hebrew Scriptures and made covenants with our fathers from Adam to David and who spoke by the Spirit through the Prophets. He is the one some call YHWH, who was chosen before the universe was created. He came walk with us to fulfill the promises made in the covenants. He came and “pitched his tent” among us, became like us, and absorbed in his body the penalty of death that all have accrued. By doing this He purchased all people and we all, living or dead, belong to Him. He is “The Living One [YHWH], who was dead, and is alive forever and ever.”
Regarding religions: You assume that religions were all created by the Living Elah [God]. But have you not read what the Prophets wrote Eyahuwah [YHWH] said?
Why do you think He said this?
Concerning the soul: The Hebrew word translated “soul” is nephesh and it literally means “The whole of a person or creature; the body, breath, and mind.” It wasn’t until the Greeks wrote that the imagined “immortal soul” came to exist in the minds of the people.
Have you not read? “See, all beings [souls] are Mine, the being of the father as well as the being of the son is Mine. The being [soul] that is sinning shall die.” From Ezekiel 18.
or this from Revelation 16? “And the second messenger poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood, and every living creature [soul] in the sea died.”
In other words, we are souls. Our pets are souls. Every living creature is a soul. And that soul can die. We don’t have a soul. According to the scriptures, that is what we are. “Adam became a living soul!
So what is the confusion about? We are souls and we have a spirit. This is our connection to all things living whether in heaven or on the earth. The spirit makes us what we are. The “body without the Spirit is dead.” “Into Your hands I commend My Spirit.” “He gave up the Spirit and died.” When we die our spirits return to the Lord of Spirits [the Father]. (See 1 Enoch) Then at the resurrection we will be given new bodies that are clean, free from pollution and toxins, with organs that are perfect. Into our new bodies will be placed our Spirits and we will stand on our feet. Some are raised to live forever, while others will be raised to judgment and tears. These will understand what they did in their former lives and be given a time to live again and learn the knowledge of Eyahuwah [He who exists] and they will rejoice when they enter their houses in the Family of Elah.
Concerning the resurrection: All will be raised from their graves and given fresh bodies, according to the scriptures. But each in this order: First, the overcomers to eternal life, and with them “the whole House of Israel.” [See Ezekiel 37] And finally, after the end of the eighth age, the rest of the dead will “come to life.” [Revelation 20:5] “God adoring” has nothing to do with who will “come to life.” Eyahushuah/Eyahuwah [He who exists] owns all who live and all who died. He has the keys to the grave and to death.
Hello,
I am wondering if you have seen this book by a man who claims he is one of the two witnesses spoken of in Revelations 11? The book is called ‘2008 God’s Final Witness” and the man is Weinland. If you have come across it, I was wondering what you thought. Thanks. Blessings.
Actually, another reader brought this to my attention and I wrote a response and a post that contains some information. I was able to get a copy of his ebook, and although it contained information similar to a few posts in this blog, he launched into Armstrongism and the Worldwide Church of God as his main selling points — something that must be overcome, not sold.
Here are the links about him:

Tim,
There are some new developments on the horizon that have taken place in Weinland’s church. I do not know, if you are aware of the most recent events that unfolded this past Saturday, on February 2, as he delivered his sermon titled “144,000 are sealed.”
During this sermon he discussed that Daniel 12, concerning 1335 days has begun. It started this very day on February 2, 2008, and the countdown would continue until it reaches the 1335th day. Weinland interprets that this day is symbolic of the sealing of the 144,000, a great multitude that will be resurrected on the day of Christ’s second coming (Rev 7). This day is September 29, 2011. He declared that these prophecies concerning Daniel 12 have been fulfilled. Daniel 12:11-12 states,
“And from the time that the continual [burnt-offering] [daily sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand and two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.”
Weinland claims that these prophecies are spiritual and are referring to the Worldwide Church of God and the destruction of this church back in December 1994. Weinland interprets that the [daily sacrifice that is taken away] represents that these 144,000 people who are now sealed are not in need of this daily sacrifice anymore. He quotes Genesis 22:12, where an angel of God says to Abraham “Now, I know you…”
Weinland stated that Abraham at that very moment was sealed by God and would be resurrected at the end of 1335th day. Abraham would be part of the 144,000 (God’s elect). Weinland shared with his congregation that all of 144,000 are now sealed and God can now say “Now, I know you” like he did to Abraham.
The irony of this whole situation is that I had just finished you book on the morning of February 2 and listened to his sermon in the afternoon. Your book is interesting and I believe it has content that will be paramount to the future. I was surprised of your interpretation of 1335 days and the interpretation of these very same matters that were described in Weinland’s sermon. They are in direct contrast (polar opposites) of each other.
Weinland continues and interprets the [abomination that is desolate set up] is simply that in 45 days March 18, 2008 that this [abomination that is desolate] is complete. Weinland once again interprets that the abomination of desolation was (Tkach, Sr.) who destroyed the spiritual temple of God. This “spiritual temple” are the people who were baptized and members of the Worldwide Church of God. This scattering (apostasy) as Weinland describes started 30 days after December 17, 1994 and will continue until it is complete on March 18, 2008.
At this moment in time, God will begin to call approximately 3000 people who were already given the Holy Spirit (before 1994), back into fellowship with his organization. Weinland did say that this is an ongoing process and it will not happen all at once, but these people will be awakened from a “deep sleep” and will repent. Many of these people will be disappointed that they will not be one of the “First Fruits” who will be resurrected on Christ’s second coming.
The irony of March 18, 2008 is that it is the end of the year in the solar calendar of Enoch. There are approximately two days before the solar calendar resets for a new year. Another interesting point is that on day 45, March 18, 2008 there are 1290/1335 days left. Weinland did not point this out in his sermon, but said that he could not get any sleep the evening before he gave his sermon. He claimed that he got out his calendar and a calculator in order to try and figure these dates out. Weinland declared that “Nothing fits, it is simply by divine revelation that this information is given.” It is my understanding that Weinland is not familiar with the book of Enoch or the solar calendar that was revealed.
I do not have answers for any of this information that I just presented to you. I find it interesting.
Another point of interest is that the two-witnesses start their three and one-half years on April 12, 2008. This is exactly 23 days after the Spring Equinox on our modern day calendar. According to the solar calendar, the Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread would be complete on Thursday, April 10, 2008. You have to make the conversion to the modern calendar. I hope my math is right!
Weinland claims that these two witnesses will prophesize for 1260 days and they will die in the street of Jerusalem on Saturday morning (near sunrise). The autumn equinox will occur on September 22, 2011. This is exactly 7 days before the return of Christ or Weinland’s proposed day of his return. This autumn equinox occurs and three and a half days later the 2 witnesses die, and three and one-half days later, they are raised from the dead.
As I was reading your book and thinking about Noah and the flood; it occurred to me that God gave Noah a commission to build an ark which would save his family and many species of animals. He was also instructed to warn the people about this huge flood that was going to destroy mankind. This warning went out for approximately 100 years before the flood waters came. After Noah built the ark and all of the animals had been placed in the ark. Noah’s commission for building the ark was complete. The ark was sealed by God. After the ark was sealed, the rain waters did not start for another 7 days. I know that the solar calendar was used at this point in time.
Are the current modern day calendar and the solar calendar aligning in some manner? I know we have to wait and watch in order to see, if Weinland is who he claims to be. This is stated in Deuteronomy. I thought this would be of interest to you.
According the Weinland’s this is the sequence of end-time events:
February 2, 2008; prophecy of Daniel 12 begins (1/1335)
March 18, 2008; day 45/1335; 1290/1335 days that remain; two days before the spring equinox
March 20, 2008 Spring Equinox
April 10 , 2008; Passover and UB complete according to the Solar calendar
April 12, 2008; Two-witnesses start 1260 day testimony;
April 17, 2008; Day 75; The Great Tribulation begins; 1260/1335 days remain before the 2 witnesses are raised from the dead and Christ returns
September 22, 2011; Autumn Equinox; 7 days remain until the return of Christ and the 2 witnesses resurrected.
September 24, 2011; the two-witnesses die in the streets of Jerusalem in the hours near early sunrise
September 29, 2011; Christ returns, 2 witnesses resurrected, 144,000 (God great multitude – Rev 7 resurrected)
Just some food for thought!
Here is a revised copy; there was some error in dates that I corrected and discard the original
Travis,
You received the copy of my book. Good. My intention was to provide the information you need to figure these things out for yourself. They become yours. Then when someone like Weinland comes along, whose context, according to your report, and of which I am convinced is completely contained within the context of the Worldwide COG and consequently cannot be understood in the true context of Scripture.
He is staying awake at night musing on these things, not because they are true, (they really are not true) but rather because he is obsessed by or “possessed” by them. Anyone, including me, who is outside of that group can safely stay away. Weinland is obsessed by his ideas in the very same way that “pre-tribulation rapturists” are with theirs.
I wrote somewhere either in the book or in a post about how the great flood was synchronized with solar events. This is recorded in the Book of Jubilees. As far as I can see, those events are markers that can keep us in sync with prophecy.
Ron’s list of dates and events is completely confused. Do we need to use the Christian (Roman) or Jewish (Babylonian) calendars (both considered unclean by the Scriptures) to determine prophetic events? Can we determine prophetic events without these man-made devices? Could we use Enoch’s solar calendar revealed to him by messengers?
ok, then. Are there events that tell us precisely where we are on that calendar? If so, then what is Ronny doing wandering around time like a blind camel? He doesn’t have a clue! He sees some times and events, and he stays awake nights trying to force the universe (and Uriel) to see things his way.
Where is the one place on a calendar where you can start counting the 1,335 days on one Feast and end on one of the greatest Feasts of the year at the end of the counting? Can I give you a clue? What is the only Feast associated with counting?
If there are “seven complete weeks (ages)” as Enoch’s vision tells us, and if there is a Feast of Weeks that precisely counts “seven complete weeks” starting on the evening of the first day and ending on the sunset of the seventh day, and because the end-time events appear to be contained within a seven-year time-span, and because in Daniel’s “70 weeks” prophecy there appears to be one week unaccounted for, where then is Ron?
Relax, Ronny! Quit trying to force things! Stop teaching. Be quiet and listen! You know, it’s that “still small voice” thing.
Is not Spiritual revelation quiet, patient and precise? Can we trust the Spirit of Truth to do things correctly? If there are powerful messengers keeping the universe going, can we at least give them a chance to do their job?

Hi Tim,
Just a small update. Weinland in a sermon a “Mystery of God Revealed” discussed that God is going to restore the earth back to its original state prior to Noah’s flood. I thought this was interesting. He said this will be discussed in more detail as the Great Tribulation is underway. So, I don’t know if he means that this process will be complete prior to the Millennial period beginning in his timeline of events.
There is also going to be an ad campaign which declares himself and his (wife) as the two witnesses in April. Weinland claims that these ads will be focused in the United States, Canada, Europe, England, Australia, and New Zealand.
He is also claiming that the April 17, is the beginning of the Tribulation. March 18, 2008 is the opening of the 7th seal and there is a thirty day period of time which coincides with the “Silence in heaven for the space of half-hour” which is in Revelation concerning the 7th seal. Weinland is claiming the 1st Trumpet sounds on April 17, 2008. The Catholic Pope will be in the United States either in New York or Washington, D.C. according to Weinland. This will be approximately when his ad campaign will start. Weinland states that the Pope will be given great power from Satan to influence man and the European nations. According to Weinland, the Pope will eventually mandate Sunday worship for all of its people. I wonder how this will fly!
I had a question concerning Psalms 81. Are these verses in this chapter referring to the Feast of Trumpets? They talk about blowing a trumpet on a feast day on the “new moon” and “full moon.”
Travis,
I wonder too. Not because I think he is correct in his assumptions. He is not. It is almost as though he is making a mockery of who the two witnesses are and what they will really do. The post above is about Zechariah’s vision concerning two men, Joshua and Zerubbabel, who were actual historic people and were written about in Ezra and Nehemiah. But Zechariah saw a vision in which these two were a metaphor of the two olive trees. This vision became part of John’s vision concerning the two witnesses.
Briefly, the key to understanding the vision is not trying to view the historical significance of the two physical men, but to look at the meaning of their names, and the situations surrounding each of them. If Weinland is one of the two, then according to where he is spiritually, he would have to be considered as Joshua. Weinland is currently “dressed in filthy garments.” The name Joshua or Eyahushuah is the name given to the one we call Jesus, through the messenger Gabriel. It means “YHWH (Eyahuwah) is our savior” or “The One who exists is the deliverer.”
The name Zerubbabel means “a seed FROM Babylon.” Spiritually this says that this one was protected or kept out of the Babylon religious systems of the world including but not limited to the Christian and Jewish religions. The great mountain is the world, which will become a plain before Zerubbabel.
The first order of business for the two witnesses is announcing that it will not rain on the earth for the 3 and 1/2 years of their prophecy. That will start on the spring equinox, the first day of the revealed calendar, and continue until the Feast of Trumpets or Shoutings, 42 months (same as 3 and 1/2 years, and 1,260 days) later. That could happen starting this year, or maybe next year, or at some other year. But it will start on the spring equinox, whether people know it or not, including our deluded Ron Weinland, who is still wearing the filthy garment of the Babylonian lunar calendar.
Psalm 81 is very interesting. Both the new moon and full moon, according to the lunar Babylonian calendar, would mark the first day of the Jews Feast of Trumpets (new moon), first Day of Unleavened Bread (full moon), and the Feast of Booths or Tents (full moon). However, these Psalms, starting from Psalm 73 through 89 are considered Book III of the Psalms, and if you look at the context and theme it should be clear that these were written while the Jews were captive in Babylon. These are not Psalms of David, but of Asaph, a captive choir director, and already influenced by the Babylonian calendar!
The blowing of trumpets, as I wrote in other posts, is a cry or prayer to Eyahuwah for deliverance from oppression, war, famine, drought, captivity, plagues, whatever. To assume that the sounding of trumpets is only a call to take up arms and fight is a gross misunderstanding of Scriptures and the Torah. The making and use of the two silver trumpets is explained in Numbers 10.
This also brings to mind the significance of two of something: Two silver trumpets, two loaves of bread (Wave Offering) and two sacrificial bulls on Feast of Weeks/Firstfruits (note the two names for one High Day), two witnesses, even two “three and one half year” periods at the end of this age.
