JESUS TOMB: Meaning of Symbols on Entrance
I promised Jonathan that I would give some material about the symbols found on the entrance to the tomb. It is not the “all-seeing eye” as some suppose.
First, understanding the meaning of the symbols does not add evidence to conclude or dismiss the theory that Jesus bones were put in the tomb along with Mary Magdalene, the son of Jesus, and Mary, Jesus’s brother, and others in the family.
Also the resurrection of the dead does not demand the gathering up of the pieces in an attempt to put the body back together. According to the Scriptures we will receive new bodies into which our spirits will be placed. The “resurrection of the body” is a myth. I don’t think anyone wants their old body back. I don’t.
Mine has taken a beating from the pollution, bad food, bio-engineered grains, radiocarbon, and a bunch of other stuff designed to make us sick so that people can make money from an array of illnesses.
We will need fresh bodies designed to live a long time, and long life is what was prophesied.
This is a photograph from the Discovery Channel web site of the entrance to the tomb. The first thing that catches our e
ye is the hand carved chevron-looking shape. Below that we also see a circle made in an outline form. And for most that is where things stop. If you look closely you will see what appears to be “rays” coming out from the circle, and below the circle is what appears to be another inverted v-shaped carving. Then below all of this is the opening that appears to be splayed outward at the bottom. This is somewhat unusual as the actual door way into the tomb has perpendicular sides.
We must ask, “Is it possible that the entire face is a symbol, and not just to two objects at the top? Are there any ancient symbols that are similar to what we see, and, if so, are there meanings attached to those?”
Yes, there are symbols that came from “prehistoric” sources and found their way into many cultures around the world including both the native Americans and the Hawaiians. Like the flood story common to diverse cultures around the world, so also are the symbols on the tomb.
This image is a drawing of the basic symbol from which others were derived.
What we see is a sun with a halo around it and below a light “mountain.” I included these items in an earlier podcast post on this blog. You can find that if you click here. The image is one that is formed naturally when the conditions are right. However, before the great flood the conditions were always right, and this was a common event. The waters above the earth in the stratosphere caused the sun, the moon and perhaps the brighter stars or planets, to appear with light rings around them. Sometimes we see that when the atmosphere is dense with moisture.
What do the symbols mean?
We do not know for sure what life was like before the flood changed both the rotation speed of the earth and the atmosphere. Before the flood days were longer and the sky appeared different than it does now. We tend to think that everything that we see and experience has always been the way it is now. But that is not true. Water in the
stratosphere caused the gamma rays to slow down so much that they no longer had enough power to change the nucleus of nitrogen to breakdown upon impact and produce the isotope radiocarbon or C14. The German scientists called this bremsstrahlung . This caused the production of radiocarbon to be greatly reduced. At that time there was very little radiocarbon available to become part of the DNA. The amino acids that makeup the backbone of DNA are linked together by three carbon atoms. If one or more of those atoms was the unstable C14, then DNA would break down and release free radicals into the blood stream. The DNA would mutate and no longer reproduce organs and tissues in the same pattern. This would result in premature aging. For more information on this read my book, Prophecy Unsealed! The halo appeared throughout the day from sunrise to sunset. And because of the waters “above the earth” it might have been possible to see part of the halo at night in the north or south sky, depending where you lived. Sometime crescents were formed instead of the full halo. The ancients began to learn from them and so other symbols were formed.
These three symbols mean [1] the sunrise or dawn (looking east), [2] the day (looking either north or south), and [3] the sunset of evening (looking west).
One symbol, not included here is most interesting to our study. This is the symbol of night and also means asle
ep, dead, and dark. Is this the image that is placed on the facade of the tomb? And it seems appropriate considering the meaning, does it not? The difference between this and the tomb is that instead of a crescent or ark shape at the top, we see something different. The inverted V-shape also has it own symbolic meaning. When shown with straight lines rather than arcs or crescent the symbol represents “arms.” The arms are reaching down to embrace the tomb and to give the feeling that these arms are protecting or lifting those in the tomb.
Here is another picture of the tomb where I put lines to emphasize the key elements of the symbol.
Notice how the opening is splayed outward while the entrance is perpendicular. Did whoever created this facade know about these ancient symbols and their meaning and use them here? Or was this just a popular design?
But there is one more set of symbols that contains another mystery. Notice that there are two V-shape pieces in this image. Both point up as in the sun symbols. Compare that with the spelling of the Name Eyahuwah or Yahua or YHWH using the ancient Hebrew characters. Jeff Benner in the interview mentioned that in the documents found among the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Name was spelled with the ancient Hebrew characters while the rest of the text used the Chaldean letters. This practice continued into the first century CE. Here is how that Name is spelled.
Among the letters of ancient Hebrew pictographs, only these letters have characters that include the V-shapes, and they are all found in the one Name Eyahuwah Also notice the raised arms and the outline circle of the head.
I have to ask. Is there a message in the facade of the tomb that has been preserved for our time?

I was wondering if you might have forgotten about writing a blog on this. I have been looking forward to reading this blog, and it is very insightful. Thanks, for shedding some light on the symbols.
